Four women from Coventry, four different stories, a common need for connection. HER DAY highlights the lives of ordinary local women engaged in daily acts of peaceful protest.
This new opera directed by the women of Coventry-based Sayan Kent and Vanessa Oakes brings together director Lucy Bradley (Royal Opera House, OperaUpClose, Glyndebourne) and music director Berrak Dyer (Royal Opera House, Opera Holland Park, The Opera Story ). Set in a women’s friendship group, HER DAY will feature a community choir of local female singers performing alongside professional singers and musicians.
We have an accompanying program of activities exploring opera. For more information or to discuss access requirements, contact Lisa Franklin E: [email protected] Tel: 07729 689 850
